Summer Chess Camp

Chess promotes creativity, imagination and strategic thinking. Experience the fun while learning the game in small group lessons for students of all abilities. Each day is filled with fun activities and lessons designed to teach the game and help children excel in their chess game. Lessons include rules, etiquette, strategies, tactics, opening / middle / end game theories and game analysis. Includes entry to the USCF rated tournament on Friday. All equipment supplied.

Scholastic K-12 Chess Tournament

Four rounds of non-elimination chess, 30 minutes per player, play all four rounds - trophies and medals for two or more wins. Pre-registration closes 24 hours before tournament. All equipment is supplied, USCF membership required, memberships start at $10 and can be purchased at the tournament or online. $10 sections K-3 U300 Beginners, K-5 U600 Novice, K-12 U800 Intermediate, and K-12 Open / advanced.
