The City of McKinney's social media campaign for Twitter called #SeeMcKinneyWithMe takes residents on a virtual interactive tour through a city department or facility and shows behind-the-scenes happenings, meetings with staff, ridealongs for service calls and highlights city operations in fresh, new ways.

Upcoming tours


April 10, Roy & Helen Hall Library featuring the popular program Music and Movement, and behind the scenes with McKinney ISD's Community Access Program (CAP) which allows students 18-21 with various special needs to receive work skill training. Also, meet staff members, learn about services offered and more.
April 13, Finance Department. The City Council adopted budget is one of McKinney’s most important policy, management, and communication tools. The virtual tour will include insight on the budget process, plan, and development. 
April 18, Housing and Community Development. The virtual tour will feature interviews with Housing Rehabilitation Program contractors, McKinney Summit on Youth attendees, tours of programs and activities funded by CDBG and much more. 
May 1, The Office of Emergency Management.
