The City of McKinney Alarm Permit Program Has Been Upgraded


Only Printed Applications are Being Accepted at This Time

  • Applications submitted during our upgrade are being processed and you should receive an email or mailed copy of your permit information.
  • Please set up your email service to receive emails from alarms@mckinneytexas.org
  • Residential annual fee is $50
  • Commercial annual fee is $100
  • Applications, renewals and fees can be submitted at the Police Department during normal business hours or mailed to the following address

  • For those paying by check, make checks payable to City of McKinney Alarm Unit

Beginning December 1, 2017, the McKinney Police Department will resume the No Permit / No Response policy.

Between now and December 1, the McKinney Police Department will continue to respond to all alarms whether the alarm system is permitted or not.
