Attend the Opening Reception of Hues and Blues or Come Before August 11 to View the Exhibit
The McKinney Arts Commission is proud to present the first of its Pairing Series - "Hues and Blues." Featuring the work of the world's number one blind painter, John Bramblitt, visually impaired and renown sculptor, Sharon McConnell-Dickerson and revered photographer, Ken Murphy.
This exhibition features texturized paintings, photography and 15 resin-cast masks of famous blues musicians like Bo Diddley and Willie King. Visitors are encouraged to touch the work as the artists themselves create the pieces. "Hues and Blues" is fully accessible to all visitors, including braille labels, music and more.
