About the McKinney Fire Department

McKinney Fire Department is no longer accepting applications for the June 2013 entrance examination. We have reached our stated maximum of 350 applicants. 

The McKinney Fire Department is dedicated to providing the community with the highest standards of service through prevention, training, education, suppression and emergency medical and emergency management services. We will provide this service with loyalty, integrity, accountability and teamwork.

Fallen Firefighters Foundation
In 1992, Congress created the National Fallen Firefighters Foundation. The mission of the Foundation is to honor and remember America's fallen fire heroes and to provide resources to assist their survivors in rebuilding their lives.
