Recycling is Fun Day
The Environmental Education Department and IESI, the city's trash and recycling contractor sponsor Recycling is Fun Day every year. The event is held in the fall on a McKinney ISD student holiday so students can visit the Material Recovery Facility MRF during regular operating hours. While visiting the facility students and parents can visit a variety of green vendors and exhibitors in the parking lot.
Recycling is Fun Day 2012 is Monday, October 29, 2012 from 9 a.m. to 12 noon.
