Mission Statement

To maintain McKinney's architectural legacy, enrich the cultural identity of the community, and strengthen economic value through preservation and education for our present and future generations.


Seven members serve one-year terms. Members may include:

  • Architect, city planner or a design professional
  • Historian
  • Licensed real estate broker
  • Attorney
  • Property owner of a landmark or a building in the historic district
  • Or other citizens interested in historic preservation
