Consolidated Grants

Application Process

The Community Development Block Grant (CDBG) and the Community Support Grant are now under an annual Consolidated Grant application process.

  • The FY 2023-2024 application process will begin February 27 to April 3, 2023. Projects and activities must meet eligibility requirements as defined under Consolidated Grant guidelines.  
  • Two optional pre-application meetings of choice will be held to guide interested applicant organizations. Attendance at one session is not required, but strongly encouraged:
    • February 24, 10:30 a.m., City Council Chambers
    • February 27, 10:30 a.m., Virtual
    • Registration is required for the virtual session. Register by email at Consolidated Grants or call 972-547-7572. The meeting link will be emailed once registration is confirmed. 
    • Eligible organizations must apply through the ZoomGrants portal. The new FY 2023-2024 application portal, technical and program support will be available February 27, 2023 at 12 p.m.

How to Apply for FY 2023-2024 Consolidated Grants funding through ZoomGrants

  • Nonprofits must apply through the ZoomGrants portal. Opens February 27, 2023 at 12 p.m.
  • All applicants must apply for funding through the ZoomGrants Portal. First-time applicants must register to create an account in order to link to the application portal when it is released.
