Healthy Creeks & Lakes Initiative

McKinney has adopted the Healthy Creeks and Lakes Initiative to respond to citizens' concerns regarding erosion and flooding. These concerns are analyzed and prioritized by city staff.

The City of McKinney has a ten-person drainage crew that addresses resident drainage concerns and maintains more than 100 miles of creeks, streams and floodplains.
