Join in this annual regional event to clean up our roadsides, waterways, neighborhoods and parks to protect the Trinity River watershed. Help improve local water quality, restore natural beauty and reduce potential threats to human health and wildlife.

Bring your family, friends, co-workers or organization members and join us for this fun and important event. Every registered participant receives a T-shirt. Staff assign locations based on dry weather screening tests.

Earn community service volunteer hours.


McKinney is a proud member of T.R.E.E.S., the Trinity River Environmental Education Society, and is committed to litter abatement as it relates to the Trinity River and its watershed.


  • Individuals can register independently. 
  • Groups like can register as a team. A team can be 2+ people. 
  • Small teams will be grouped together with other teams and assigned to spots.
  • Teams travel to trash spots independently, transportation is not provided. 
  • Spot assignments are given at check in. If you want a spot in a particular area of the city, please note on registration form and we will try to accommodate.

Team Captains: Please have your team list with names and shirt sizes ready to enter when you register your team. If you have additions or changes, contact us for changes at 972-547-7335.

Liability Form

A liability form is required of every participant. Parents must complete form for children under 18. Families can complete the form once by listing parents and children on the same form.
