Programs for adults at the McKinney libraries offer opportunities for interaction, discovery and learning.

Writers' Exchange - Spring 2018

A monthly forum for writers and people interested in writing to discuss issues of interest, offer mutual support, and exchange ideas and marketing tips.

  • John & Judy Gay Library Meeting Room, Sunday afternoons, 2-3:30 p.m.
  • Independent authors, published authors, people thinking of becoming writers, anyone connected with writing and editing, and the general public are all welcome.
  • Register at the below links to give us an idea of how many people to expect. The group may wish to change or add to these suggested topics:
    • April 15 (websites and blogs, networking, writer's groups, agents and traditional publishers)
    • May 6 (editing, book covers, reviews, interviews)

Sassy Stitch Crafters Club

Relax, express your creativity and meet others with similar interests. Bring your own knitting, crochet and needlepoint materials. Some materials will be available for specially designated charity projects; however, personal projects are welcome. This is an informal group for adults of all abilities.
