The Lessons for Life award acknowledges a stellar service to the local tennis community, such as events or fundraisers. The Courts of McKinney hosted a “Rally for Houston” night, raising $10,000 in one evening. The money went to hurricane-affected families involved in the Tennis community.

With its luxurious 3,500 square foot clubhouse, signature stadium court and elevated view of the sports fields. The Courts of McKinney at Gabe Nesbitt Community Park features 11 lit tennis courts, year-round leagues, lessons, court reservations, ball machines, retail shop service and 97 parking spaces.
Hourly, daily or annual use passes are available, along with private instruction and resident discounts.

The Courts of McKinney is being expanded with 12 additional courts, a maintenance building, playground areas, landscape enhancements, trail improvements and sports field practice areas. Construction is underway with an expected completion date of summer 2019.
