Parade & Costume Contest Registration

The theme for 2019 will be centered around a genre of television that has infiltrated our culture and become wildly popular.  If you are old enough to remember Candid Camera and What’s My Line, or if you are a fan of Survivor, Jersey Shore, Fear Factor, American Idol, Top Chef or The Bachelor/Bachelorette – you are in luck!  On March 3, Canines are Keeping it Real with A Barkus Salute to Reality TV. The cost to enter the costume contest and the parade is $5 per dog and/or float, and preregistration and confirmation are required to secure your spot.

If you would like to participate in the parade and costume contest, please fill out the registration form. You will receive confirmation of your parade entry.

Costume prizes will be awarded in each size group (small, medium, large and really large) for Best Costume, Best Dog and Owner Combo, and overall Best of Show. This year’s top honor will be crowned King of the Hill. The costume parade is limited to 250 dogs with a small entry fee, but the Pawty in the park and on the Square is open to all at no charge.

Please be sure to include all the information requested above. If you have any questions please contact McKinney Main Street at 972-547-2660.
