Link to MCDC - It's My McKinney Opens in new window

In 1996, voters approved a one-half cent sales tax to promote and preserve the quality of life in McKinney. Local shopping and dining enable MCDC to make a direct impact back into the community. MCDC has invested more than $100 million into the community to support quality of life projects.

The "It’s My McKinney" icon lets you know that your local dining and shopping helped make this project a reality.
