Saturday, February 6, 2021
Learn about native Texas wildlife and plants, the importance of pollinators, and monarch butterfly migration and lifecycle. Every February monarchs leave their home in Mexico and fly north to start their 2500 mile migration to Canada. Texas is an important stopping point where they stay for a month.
Presenter Mei Ling Liu is former volunteer coordinator for the Dallas Zoo, with experience with wildlife habitat restoration throughout the state of Texas.
