Bringing the stars within reach!

We've partnered with NASA to host an official launch party for the Webb Space Telescope! Celebrate this momentous occasion with us as we explore the universe with a NASA subject matter expert! Then join in our out-of-this-world space activities and crafts!

Event Timeline

11 a.m. - 2 p.m. - Special come-&-go activities including Raytheon Intelligence & Space's Straw Rocket Launch, TAME’s Trailblazer STEM trailer, and out-of-this-world crafts.

11: 30 a.m. - UNT SkyTheater Presentation - Learn about the James Webb Space Telescope, view the night sky, and ask your space science questions in this presentation.

1 p.m. - Meet Dr. Yuan Li via Zoom. Dr. Li is a theoretical/computational astrophysicist at the University of North Texas. She specializes in galaxy evolution and supermassive black holes.
